MTM tuned Audi A6 BiTDI

German tuning firm MTM has announced a 376bhp remap for the 3.0-litre Audi A6 BiTDI.

German tuning firm MTM has recently turned its attention to the 3.0-litre V6 BiTurbo diesel engine in the A6. The company has re-mapped the ECU to produce 376bhp and 575 lb ft, up from the standard car’s 309bhp.

The basic ECU upgrade will cost €1800 (£1430), but there are also a host of other upgrades available, or a slightly lower 360bhp and 560 lb ft map is available for €1700 (£1350).

To handle the extra power, the company also offers two different front brake upgrade kits. The smaller kit costs €4900 (£3892), and features 380x34mm discs, and 8-piston callipers. The larger €6400 (£5083) upgrade features 405x36mm discs, but requires the A6 to be fitted with 20-inch wheels.

Because the A6 runs on a sophisticated air suspension set-up, MTM technicians have come up with an equally advanced solution to lowering the car. By fitting the €1750 (£1390) ‘F-Cantronic‘ ECU, MTM is able to raise or lower the suspension according to the driving conditions and speed.

See the MTM website for details.
