Mercedes G63 6x6 tuned by Mansory

Mansory has tuned the six-wheel drive Mercedes G63 6x6 to over 829bhp. Details and pictures here

Mansory, the German tuning outfit that has previously brought us the carbon Fibre-bodied Ferrari F12 and Lamborghini Aventador, has revealed its new take on the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6.

Event the standard six-wheel drive AMG model is not what you could call restrained, but Mansory has turned the wick right up, boosting the 5.5-litre V8 engine from 537bhp to a staggering 829bhp. The engine has been almost completely rebuilt, with new pistons, con rods and crankshaft, all re-worked to produce the higher output. A full stainless steel exhaust is also fitted, and torque output is electronically limited to 737lb ft.

Styling wise, the Mansory is not hugely different to the standard car, although there are a few minor tweaks. New custom headlights, along with Mansory grille and bonnet, give it a unique look. All of the new parts are made from high quality carbon fibre, manufactured in-house by the company. Other custom carbon parts include the mirror housings, side vents and the front and rear skirts.

The interior can also be completely overhauled should the customer wish, with a host of carbon parts on offer. A choice of high quality leather, alcantara and fine woods too, it should certainly look distinctive.
